Sammut named in Malta squad

Malta have named their 37-man squad for the forthcoming internationals against Ireland and Thailand, and Workington Town‘s Jarrod Sammut has been included.

Malta head coach Chris Parker will captain as well as coach the Malta against Ireland in Bray while Peter Cassar will take charge of the side against Thailand.

“We have two great internationals this year,” said Parker.

Ireland are doing great things domestically and if you follow their social media the game is really progressing over there.

“Thailand are pulling out all the stops to put on a show in Chiang Mai and look to be assembling a squad that will test out our boys.”
