Salford and Huddersfield will be without Pauli Pauli and Luke Yates respectively for this weekend’s matches.

Back-rower Pauli has been given a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B dangerous contact in their 17-16 defeat to Wigan. He is set to miss Thursday’s home match against Warrington.

Prop Yates was charged with Grade A dangerous contact in their 44-6 win at Leigh. He has been given a one-match suspension and is due to miss Sunday’s trip to Wakefield.

Elsewhere, the Rugby Football League’s match review panel feels Hull KR prop Korbin Sims should never have been sent-off in their loss at Wakefield.

The Fiji international was sent-off for an alleged high tackle on Max Jowitt but he will not face suspension following his red card.

“Player comes into the tackle area,” the match review panel wrote. “Player hits shoulder first and there does not appear to be any contact with the head. MRP state that player is not guilty of being sent off.”

Meanwhile, John Bateman (Wigan), James Cunningham (Huddersfield) and Jay Pitts (Wakefield) all received cautions from the match review panel.
