Salford sign Forster from St Helens
Salford Red Devils have confirmed the signing of Carl Forster from St Helens.
The prop, 22, made his debut for Saints in 2011. Injury prevented him from establishing himself in the first team.
Forster has also spent time at Swinton Lions and Rochdale Hornets, as well as London Broncos and Whitehaven.
He has also recently been nominated for the 2014 Kingstone Press Championship Young Player of the Year.
“Carl fits the bill perfectly for the club,” said Red Devils coach Iestyn Harris.
“He is young and hungry for a shot at Super League, his form in the Championship this season has been superb and we can see exciting development potential in him moving forward.”
