Salford set for stadium opener

Salford will make their first appearance at the brand new Salford City Stadium when they take on Leigh Centurions on Saturday (2pm kick-off).

The new £26m stadium, located near to Barton Bridge and the Trafford Centre, will open its doors to sports fans for the very first time as the Reds take on the Championship side in a pre-season friendly.

Gates open at midday and tickets are priced at £12 for Adults, £8 for Seniors & Students and £4 for Under 16.

Meanwhile, Salford have also confirmed that they will face Halifax in a second friendly at the new ground next Sunday, January 15th (3pm kick-off)
