Salford Red Devils reveal Magic Weekend charity shirt

Salford Red Devils have revealed the charity shirt that the team will wear during this year’s Magic Weekend event in Newcastle.

The shirt is in an effort to raise awareness of The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity, a cause that helps children that have or have had brain tumours.

Josh is a supporter of the Salford Red Devils, and the club have decided to honour Josh and the charity with a shirt to continue the charity’s legacy. The ‘Super Josh’ logo will be displayed on the club’s shirt and will hopefully raise awareness for the charity.

The shirt will be worn when the Red Devils take on Widnes Vikings on Saturday 21st May at 2:30pm, with the shirts the players wear in that game being auctioned off, with proceeds going to both the charity and the Salford Red Devils foundation.

Pictures of the club shirt were tweeted this afternoon with a link to the story.
