Salford interested in Brian Noble

Salford owner Marwan Koukash has revealed he wants to hold talks with former Great Britain coach Brian Noble.

Noble has said in the past he is keen for a return to management in the Super League should a vacancy become available.

Consequently Koukash feels it would only be right for a meeting to take place between the two to discuss matters at the Reds.

Koukash told the M.E.N: “I am interested to see what he has to say about Salford. appointing a new coach is a very important decision – we have to get it right.

“We have to take out time and do things properly. Brian Noble has talked in the past about the potential of the Salford club and the need for a successful team in Manchester. I look forward to speaking with him – we will appoint the best man for the job. I feel I need to bring in someone who shares my vision.”

The Reds shortlist is reported to include Noble, Tim Sheens and Tony Iro the assistant coach of the  New Zealand Warriors.
