Challenge Cup finalists Salford have been cleared of any further positive Covid-19 tests ahead of their Wembley showdown with Leeds.

The Red Devils announced on Tuesday that two unnamed players were self-isolating after contracting coronavirus and that two others were stood down from the Super League game against Hull KR after their results proved inconclusive.

Salford on Wednesday received the results of the retests, which have come back negative, so the two players, revealed by the club to be co-captains Lee Mossop and Mark Flanagan, are free to play on Saturday if selected.
