Salford charged with alleged salary cap breaches

The RFL has issued charges to the Salford Red Devils on alleged breaches of the salary cap and operational rules for the past two seasons.

According to the RFL, it has to do with Salford player contracts in 2014 and 2015.

“The RFL has issued charges to the Salford Red Devils on alleged breaches of the salary cap and operational rules for the past two seasons,” the RFL said in a statement.

“The charges will be considered by an independent Off Field Operational Rules Tribunal, at a date to be confirmed.”
