Sale say there are others after Solomona

Sale have stated that they are not the only English rugby union club after Castleford winger Denny Solomona.

Sale’s director of rugby Steve Diamond has said that Solomona has ‘retired’ from rugby league. Love Rugby League exclusively revealed this was Solomona’s plan weeks ago.

Solomona departed Castleford at the end of the 2016 season, missing all of the club’s end of season celebrations and the Man of Steel Awards.

Solomona is still contracted to Castleford and faces a legal battle to try and get out of his contract with the Super League club.

The RFL are supporting the Tigers in their case.
