Saints to discuss Pryce future

St Helens will review the future of Leon Pryce at a board meeting next week, the club has said.

Pryce, who was convicted of assault and given a community service punishment at Bradford Magistrates Court this afternoon, could face internal punishment from his employers.

A few weeks ago, Hull Kingston Rovers handed their player, Ben Cockayne, a suspension from first team affairs until he had completed his community service, and it is likely that St Helens could follow suit.

Saints said: “The Board of Directors at the Club will be reviewing the decision at a Board Meeting next week and will therefore be making no further comment until then.”
