Ryan Hall feeling upbeat despite injury setback

Leeds winger Ryan Hall is in positive mood, despite being set for a four-week lay-off following injury to a damaged hand.

Without the period of rest, Hall may have needed an operation later down the line, which could have resulted in a four-month spell on the sidelines.

“I’m looking at the positive side of things,” he told Rhinos TV.

“It’s four weeks rather than four months, which is definitely a bonus.

“I don’t like being injured – I don’t think many people do.

“I’ve been lucky so far in my career not to get many injuries, so it’s quite new to me, even though I’m quite seasoned.

“I did it against Catalans, over at their place.

“So I played two games with it, but it needed to be done.

“The surgeon was worried about it moving further out of place, so it’s better to have it done now than to suffer later in life.”
