Ryan Atkins sidelined for Wolves

Warrington will be without centre Ryan Atkins for the trip to Catalans with an abductor strain.

Atkins, 32, has scored four tries in six appearances so far this season and has been a virtual ever present for the Wolves since 2010.

Fellow centre Bryson Goodwin is expected to return having sat out the defeat at Hull.

Coach Steve Price told the club’s official website: “Ryan Atkins has a bit of an abductor strain. He will miss this weekend’s game; and we’ll take it week to week.

“Bryson (Goodwin) is in contention for Catalans. He got close last week but it was unfortunate that at captains run the injury flared up.”

Warrington head to Perpignan looking to add to their win tally for the season, having beaten Widnes and Wigan in their opening six games.
