  1. 3 games a week? This isn’t Union, you’ll kill players doing this, lose the loop fixtures, split the league into three pools of four, play matches in the pools, top three side plus best second placed team compete for the Super League Trophy. The other eight could have a one off shield competition, redirect the John Player Trophy, with a new sponsor, to give the club’s fixtures. Maybe a match every 5th day, but three a week will decimate the players. It will be turn up early with your boots to get a game time!

  2. Leeds will NOT lose £1.5 million. They never had it in the first place. What they have lost is the opportunity to obtain that amount, which is completely different.
