Rugby League on TV: How to watch all 22 games this week including Tuesday night clash

Rugby league continues at a pace in 2026, with Round 23 taking place in Super League this weekend alongside Round 24 in the NRL and Round 7 in the NRLW.

For those who want to spend their weekend glued to the TV, you’re in luck: there are a whopping 22 games available to watch or stream over the coming weekend!

Here’s a look at all of the broadcast information you’ll need between now and Tuesday…

Thursday, August 13

10.50am: NRL (R24) – Penrith Panthers v Sydney Roosters – Watch NRL

8pm: Super League (R23) – Leeds Rhinos v Leigh Leopards – Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Action

8pm: Super League (R23) – Hull KR v Catalans Dragons – Sky Sports+ Red Button/Super League+

8pm: Super League (R23) – Warrington Wolves v York Knights – Sky Sports+ Red Button/Super League+

A clash of the NRL’s current top two kicks the weekend off on Thursday morning as Penrith host the Roosters. The pair are locked together on 36 competition points, so this game could well end up deciding where the Minor Premiership ends up.

Super League’s main attraction on Thursday night comes at Headingley, where league leaders Leeds host in-form play-off hopefuls Leigh. Elsewhere though, both Hull KR and Warrington are in action on home soil, too, with the pair having their schedule re-arranged over the next couple of weeks due to a re-arranged clash against one another.

We’ll get onto that, but Thursday night sees Rovers welcome Catalans to Craven Park while Wire host York.

Friday, August 14

9am: NRL (R24) – Manly Sea Eagles v Dolphins – Watch NRL

11am: NRL (R24) – Canterbury Bulldogs v South Sydney Rabbitohs – Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Action/ Watch NRL

8pm: Super League (R23) – Hull FC v Castleford Tigers – Sky Sports+ Red Button/Super League+

Back-to-back NRL games come your way on Friday morning, with Manly looking to keep their finals hopes alive first up as they host the Dolphins. The Bulldogs and Souths then square off, with both of those sides also hoping to be involved in the finals come the end of the regular season.

Owing to those re-arrangements already mentioned, there’s just one Super League game on Friday night, and it isn’t one of Sky’s main picks. Strugglers Hull FC and Cas square off at the MKM Stadium, with that clash behind the red button.

Saturday, August 15

We’re past the halfway mark in the NRLW season now, and the first action of the weekend from that competition comes in the early hours of Saturday morning when the Titans welcome St George.

That is the first of six games from Down Under on Saturday, split evenly between the NRL and NRLW. Among the three games from the men’s competition, the Eels take on finals hopefuls North Queensland Cowboys.

Three Super League games take place on Saturday evening, but overlap one another, with two kicking off at 6.30pm.

The first of the three comes at 5.30pm and is among the league’s headline acts of the weekend, with top-two hopefuls Wakefield hosting play-off chasing Saints. An hour later, Huddersfield will get underway over in France against Toulouse while Bradford and Wigan will face off at Odsal.

Sunday, August 16

2.50am: NRLW (R7) – Newcastle Knights v Canberra Raiders – Sky Sports Mix/Watch NRL

4.45am: NRLW (R7) – Wests Tigers v New Zealand Warriors – Sky Sports Mix/Watch NRL

There are again no Super League games on Sunday, so all the action on offer  comes from Down Under and will be for the early birds.

Three NRLW clashes are accompanied by back-to-back NRL matches, including the Knights’ encounter against the Titans.

Tuesday, August 18

8pm: Super League (R2) – Hull KR v Warrington Wolves – Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Action

As referenced, Super League title holders Hull KR and Wire have had to adjust their schedules to fit in a re-arranged clash, which comes on Tuesday night at Craven Park.

This is a Round 2 clash which should have been played in February, but was postponed due to Rovers’ involvement in the World Club Challenge as they beat reigning NRL kings Brisbane Broncos.
