6 – Most tries scored by one player in a Super League match

One of the most recognisable characters in Super League history is responsible for one of its finest personal achievements.

Bradford winger Lesley Vainikolo stands alone as a record holder, scoring six tries in the Bulls 49-6 win over Hull back in September 2005.

The Kiwi, who would go on to represent England at rugby union, scored twice in the first six minutes and had a hat-trick on the board by half-time.

His fifth try took him to 100 tries in 99 appearances for the Bulls, and his sixth broke a record he already jointly held.
