Leigh coach Paul Rowley is delighted to have added French international threequarter Mathias Pala to his ranks.
The 26-year-old has joined the Centurions from Catalans Dragons on an 18-month contract, for a nominal fee.
Rowley feels that he will add some crucial quality for the Super Eights, as the season’s most telling phase draws closer.
“It’s good to have Mathias join us as we approach the business end of the season,” said Rowley.
“He’s been on our radar for a while but we were more than happy with the players we had.
“However, losing Michael Platt we need to keep up the competition in that area to ensure the pressure in all areas remains consistent.
“I welcome Mathias to the club and look forward to his arrival.”
