Paul Rowley has resigned from his position as head coach of Leigh Centurions

With just a week to go until the new rugby league season gets underway, the news of Rowley’s resignation has come as a shock, with personal reasons the explanation given. 

The Centurions had strengthened well in the off-season, with the likes of Harrison Hansen, Rangi Chase and Willie Tonga amongst many names making the move to the Leigh Sports Village in the hope of earning a place in Super League

Rowley has revealed that personal reasons is the reason behind his departure and he is not to comment further on the situation.
