League 1 club Rochdale have lost two players to season-ending injuries and could be without fullback Chris Riley for six weeks with a broken hand.

Jack Francis has undergone surgery on his knee and James Dandy has suffered ankle ligament damage and could go under the knife.

Riley broke his hand in the 60-6 win over Hemel on Sunday. The former Super League flyer will have x-rays to assess the damage and may be out for between four to six weeks.

Rochdale are in third place on the League 1 table, two points behind leaders Toulouse.
