Rochdale re-sign trio

Newly promoted Rochdale have re-signed Warren Thompson, Chris Riley and Lewis Galbraith for 2017.

Rochdale will play in the Championship next year after securing promotion from League 1.

Prop Thompson is staying with the Hornets along with former Warrington and Wakefield winger Riley.

Outside back Galbraith has also been retained by Rochdale, after joining the club in 2016.

Steven Roper has left the Horents to join Whitehaven.
