Rochdale rapt with Bradford win

Rochdale have kept their place at the top of the Championship table with a 22-14 win over Bradford.

The Hornets saw off the Bulls yesterday at Odsal in a tight one, their first victory over Bradford at their ground in 46 years.

The newly promoted side defeated Dewsbury last week in their first match back in the Championship and so far remain unbeaten.

“With the conditions it was tough, it was tough for both teams and both sets of players,” Rochdale coach Alan Kilshaw said.

“We’ve proved we can win ugly. There’s no such thing as a bad win… it’s a great feeling.”
