Rochdale make first signing for 2020

Drew Darbyshire

Rochdale have made their first signing for the 2020 season in the shape of Jordan Syme from Halifax.

The utility forward ended the 2019 campaign on loan at the Hornets, having also enjoyed a loan spell at the club in 2018.

Syme came through the reserve set-up at Halifax, playing one game for the club’s first-team last season. He will ply his trade in League 1 with the Hornets next year.

He said: “I’m excited for a new challenge and looking forward to getting started and getting regular game-time with a new club.”
