Rochdale loan two players out

Rochdale Hornets have confirmed that John Cookson and Dean Mignacca have gone out on loan, in order to get more game time under their belts.

Cookson will play in the NCL with local community club Rochdale Mayfield, while Australian half-back Mignacca has joined League One rivals Oxford.

Mignacca is signed on to play five games for his new club, which he hopes will give him a chance to impress the coaching staff at Rochdale.

Both players will continue to train once a week with the Hornets and the opportunity to re-sign Cookson at short notice at any point and Mignacca after the initial 28 day loan are in place.
