RLEF issue update on meeting with Euro XIII organisers

Drew Darbyshire

The RLEF have confirmed they have been in direct contact with key personnel from the proposed Euro XIII group organisers.

The RLEF made contact with the Euro XIII organisers earlier this week via a virtual meeting after the federation said they were keen to work alongside the proposed new Pan-European competition.

An RLEF statement read: “We held a positive meeting, enabling greater understanding of the respective plans and objectives for European club rugby league competition.

“Further dialogue will continue over the coming weeks.

“The RLEF will be making no further comment at this stage.”
