Cooper future

The 33-year-old is out of contract with his hometown club at the end of the season. He has been linked with a move to Huddersfield.

Powell told Warrington Guardian: “I think for Mike, he wants to win a competition with Warrington. As far away as it looks at the moment, we’ve still got an opportunity to do that this year. At this point though, I won’t speculate on Mike’s future.”

Warrington have signed front-row duo Gil Dudson and Sam Kasiano from next year. The Wolves have also made the immediate signings of Kyle Amor (St Helens) and Thomas Mikaele.
