The move would see Sutton link up with former Wigan half-back Trent Barrett. He has spent the last three years in the Australian capital.
Tony Smith aiming to emulate St Helens
Hull KR Head Coach Tony Smith has said he is hoping to follow the path of Super League champions St Helens. (Hull Live).
Smith told Hull Live: “Saints went through a period where they weren’t top of the tree. They’re back in that position now and have worked really hard to get there. All credit to them.
“But it goes in cycles for most clubs and teams. It’s hard to stay there and hard to keep it going, and then you have to go through a regrowth. They’ve done it pretty well.”
Kristian Woolf praises Matty Lees after England call-up
St Helens Head Coach Kristian Woolf has praised forward Matty Lees after he was called up to the latest England train-on squad. (St Helens Star).

Combined Nations All-Star game details
After the announcement Ellery Hanley will lead the Combined Nations All-Star team against England, it was then announced Andrew Henderson would be assisting him. (Warrington Wolves).

Homophobic comment being investigated
The RFL Match Review Panel are investigating after Warrington forward Rob Butler made an accusation of homophobic language being used towards him by a Huddersfield player during a reserve match. (Love Rugby League).
The referee put the incident on report at the time.
Barrow forward dreams of representing Italy
Barrow Raiders prop Anton Iaria says it would be a ‘dream come true’ if he got to represent his Italian heritage at this year’s World Cup. (Love Rugby League)
When asked if he wants to play in the World Cup, Iaria told Love Rugby League: “Without a doubt. First and foremost, my priority is going as far as we can with Barrow.”
