Chris Hill deserves England call-up

Huddersfield forward Chris Hill has been backed for a call-up back to the England squad by his head coach and former international forward Eorl Crabtree.

“Chris Hill has been unbelievable so far, he’s just been ridiculous,” Crabtree told Love Rugby League

“He was getting stick from the fans at first for giving too many penalties away. They thought we should have invested in youth. But you need experience to bring that youth on.

“Hill leads by example. They say once you are over the hill you start to speed up and he seems to be getting better and better each game.”

“It’s been a long process to get back and I think I was just happy to be out there and get that feeling again, especially at a home game in front of the Wigan crowd.
