Mike Cooper set for immediate switch

The Warrington prop had signed with Matt Peet’s side for the 2023 campaign. However, the deal is set to be brought forward. He was dropped by Daryl Powell in their recent defeat to Castleford.

Rugby Australia eyeing NRL star

The 22-year-old New South Wales representative has attracted interest thanks to his booming left foot.

Sydney Roosters star Joseph Suaalii is also believed to be a target ahead of the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

Sydney Roosters forward Victor Radley says he wants to represent his English heritage at the World Cup this autumn.

The 24-year-old back-rower was born and raised in Australia but qualifies to play for England through his father Nigel, who is from Sheffield and a Wednesday fan.

According to the Rugby League Record Keepers’ Club, only four players have managed 11 try-scoring games in a row since the professional game switched to summer in 1996
