Leeds forward heading to Castleford

Leeds back-rower Alex Mellor is heading to Castleford Tigers for the 2023 season. (Examiner Live)

The 27-year-old back-rower is off-contract at Headingley Stadium at the end of the current season and looks to be on the move. He has made 115 Super League appearances, having made his debut with Bradford. He has also played for Huddersfield.

Fiji international offered to Super League

The 27-year-old has made close to 50 NRL appearances, featuring for St George Illawarra Dragons, New Zealand Warriors and currently South Sydney Rabbitohs,

He is one of four players offered to Super League.

Harry Newman returns to full training

A hamstring issue has restricted the 22-year-old centre to just one appearance this year.

New pair given squad numbers at Warrington

New front-row pair Thomas Mikaele and Kyle Amor have been given their squad numbers by Warrington for the remainder of the 2022 season. 

Amor will take the 32 shirt, while Mikaele is given the 33 shirt.

Hull trio Kane Evans, Joe Lovodua and Chris Satae have all been included. Across the city, Hull KR forward Korbin Sims has been named.
