Jack Welsby on NRL interest

While not ruling out a potential move in the future, Jack Welsby is in no rush to follow in the footsteps of Dom Young and make an early switch to the NRL. (NRL.com)

The 21-year-old England international caught plenty of attention following his World Club Challenge performance against Penrith, helping his side to a 13-12 victory.

He told NRL.com: “It is not something I have given much thought too. The success that we have had at St Helens is all I have really thought about.

“We have gone far and we want to continue, and make it five this year, after facing the Panthers. I just want to get on with it, play rugby and see what happens.

“I am only young there is plenty of time to make those decisions down the line, but for now I am focused on playing with St Helens and winning more trophies.”
