Derek Beaumont teases new Leigh signing

Leigh owner Derek Beaumont has teased a new signing for their 2023 Super League campaign via social media. The club have a quota spot available following Nene Macdonald’s move to Leeds ahead of next season.

The club, who flirted with relegation last year alongside Toulouse, have added four players during the off-season, including NRL back-rower Kevin Proctor. Morgan Smith, Renouf Atoni and Samisoni Langi have also joined the club.

His contract with Manly expired at the conclusion of the 2022 season, and the Samoa international still remains without a deal.

Sinfield, 42, raised more than £2million in his latest challenge that saw him run seven ultra marathons in seven days, finishing at Old Trafford during half time of the Men’s World Cup final.

A VIP premiere will be hosted at the Everyman cinema in Trinity Leeds at 7pm on Thursday, January 19.

Bradford winger on the move

Bradford winger Ryan Millar has made the move to Widnes on a one-year deal ahead of the 2023 Championship season.

Before his time in West Yorkshire, the 28-year-old had previously spent seven seasons with Sheffield Eagles.

12-time Australia international James Tamou turns 34 today (December 13).

Also celebrating; Widnes forward Shane Grady (33), Canberra half-back Jamal Fogarty (29) and Batley recruit Josh Woods (25).
