Catalans sign NRL centre

Catalans Dragons are close to signing of Adam Keighran from the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. (Examiner Live)

The 25-year-old started his career at New Zealand Warriors, making his debut in 2019. He made the switch to Sydney ahead of the 2021 season, and has made a total of 26 NRL appearances.

Alvaro leaves Toulouse

The 29-year-old made the mid-season switch from St George Illawarra Dragons in 2022 to try and help retain their Super League status.

Hands off George Williams

Warrington have insisted that George Williams will remain with the club despite attracting interest from the NRL once again. (World Wide of Sports)

Williams, 28, was one of England’s stand-out performers at the delayed 2021 World Cup. He featured for Canberra Raiders in Australia before returning to Super League in 2021.

He still has two years left on his contract with the Halliwell Jones Stadium side.

Kenny-Dowall to continue as Hull KR captain

Shaun Kenny-Dowall will once again lead Hull KR in 2023 as captain.

The 34-year-old extended his stay with a new one-year contract, having originally made the switch from the NRL ahead of the 2020 season. He was named as the club’s captain in 2021.

Leuluai would jump at chance to help coach NZ again

The newly-appointed Wigan assistant worked under Kiwi boss Michael Maguire for the delayed 2021 tournament in England, and is keen to do it again.
