Castleford lodge complaint over Jason Qareqare approach

Castleford have lodged a complaint with the RFL over an illegal approach for teenage winger Jason Qareqare. (Yorkshire Live).

Bolton Mets in tribute to Des Drummond

North West Men’s League side Bolton Mets have announced their “Former Players v Current Players” match will now be known as the Des Drummond Memorial Match.

Drummond passed away recently at the age of 63, and held a number of roles at the Mets, including Head Coach and adviser.

Former Leigh and Widnes forward Macgraff Leuluai turns 32 today.

Also celebrating; Fiji forward Tariq Sims (32), Salford half-back Marc Sneyd (31) and Leeds forward Tom Holroyd (21).

Trivia

Jason Qareqare made his debut in 2021 and burst onto the scene, scoring a try after just 44 seconds against Hull FC.
