It has been reported that the Craven Park side have decided not to extend the 29-year-old’s contract beyond the current Super League season.

He has made 64 appearances for the Robins.

Ben Cockayne returns to York

Ben Cockayne has returned to York as the club’s new assistant coach.

It means he leaves current club Doncaster to take up the position. It follows Brett Delaney’s move to Super League with Hull KR under interim boss Danny McGuire.

Freddie Tuilagi leads Samoan war dance

The Rugby League World Cup visited Doncaster on Monday.

Former player Freddie Tuilagai led the Siva Tua, Samoa’s war dance. Doncaster will host the Samoan international team for this year’s tournament. 

Hull get their man

Hull FC have confirmed the signing of NRL playmaker Tex Hoy on a two-year deal from the 2023 Super League season.

He has made 23 appearances for Newcastle Knights, scoring three tries.
