Richie Myler joins Rhino

Warrington half-back Richie Myler has been signed up as an ambassador for the new Rhino Skin Armour male grooming range.

The new range is the first rugby branded male grooming range, and is backed by Rhino Rugby, who are the official match ball supplier of Super League and the Championships.

Myler is the latest player to take advantage of their commercial potential, and he believes more players should do the same.

He said: “A lot of players just stick to playing rugby and don’t capitalise on opportunities. We’ve not got a long shelf life as players, and so anything that comes along that will help to raise your own profile and that of the sport, you should be taking.

“A lot of companies and big brands are using sportsmen and sports people to promote their products and themselves, and why shouldn’t it be rugby league players that they use?

“I use male grooming products so when the opportunity came up, it made sense to get involved because I use them and it was one of those things that appealed to me.

“It’s a good range. They’ve launched four products so it’s not overkill, it’s everything that you need.

It’s a very masculine range, and it’s a good link with the Rhino brand. The manufacturers have done well to link it to both codes of rugby.”

Rhino Skin Armour launched in Tesco last month with four products – Anti-bacterial Facial Wash, Anti-redness Facial Moisturiser, Ingrow ease Aftershave Balm, Pore reducing Facial Scrub.
