Richard Owen pleads guilty to punching Ablett

Richard Owen will miss Castleford’s match away to Widnes after pleading guilty to punching Carl Ablett.

Owen was charged with the Grade B offence on Monday following Sunday’s match against Leeds.

Owen was sin binned after punching the Leeds and England centre in the 63rd minute. His guilty plea means he is automatically suspended for one match.
