Rhyse Martin named in Papua New Guinea squad for World Cup Nines

Leeds forward Rhyse Martin has been named in the Papua New Guinea squad for the World Cup Nines.

Papua New Guinea is the first of the 12 nations competing in the tournament to announce their 16-man squad.

The Kumuls squad includes Melbourne Storm centre Justin Olam, Brisbane Broncos hooker James Segeyaro and Sydney Roosters half-back Lachlan Lam.

Doncaster star Watson Boas and Barrow’s Stargroth Amean have also been named in Michael Marum’s squad.

The World Duo Nines takes place at Bankwest Stadium on October 18-19.
