Rhys Evans returns to Bradford

Bradford have announced the permanent signing of Rhys Evans on a two-year deal.

Evans, 27, joined Leeds on loan earlier this year, and will return to the Bulls in 2021.

The Welsh international played over 100 games for Warrington during seven seasons in Super League as well as spells at Leigh, Swinton and North Wales Crusaders.

He said: “It is really good to have signed for the next two years – I am looking forward to starting back with the lads once I have finished the season at Leeds and getting stuck into pre-season.

“John has made some really exciting signings the likes of Danny Brough and Aaron Murphy will only make the squad better as well as re-signing a lot of the younger lads who were already really competitive players.

“I had a bit of an injury hit year in 2019 so having that security of a two-year deal means I can really get my head down and look to kick on in a Bradford shirt and hopefully we can build on the success we had before COVID.”
