RFL start search for Super League general manager

Correspondent

The RFL has began its search for a new Super League General Manager to replace Blake Solly.

Solly left the role in April. Following his departure, RFL Chairman Brian Barwick and Chief Executive Nigel Wood consulted directly with Super League clubs ahead of starting the search for his successor.

The new Super League General Manager will work in partnership with the 12 member clubs, taking responsibility for the financial performance of the Super League business and for raising the visibility and profile of the League.

The deadline for interested applicants is the 22nd July and the RFL hope to conduct interviews with those shortlisted throughout August.

Applications for the role open tomorrow.
