RFL charge three players

Oliver Holmes, Wellington Albert and Jason Baitieri have all been charged by the Rugby Football League.

Castleford Tigers star Holmes has been referred to Tuesday’s Independent operational rules tribunal for a Grade D dangerous throw charge in their clash against Salford Red Devils on Sunday.

Widnes Vikings forward Albert has been handed a two-match penalty notice for a Grade B dangerous contact charge in their Super League clash against Huddersfield Giants on Friday.

Catalans Dragons forward Jason Baitieri has been given a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B dangerous contact charge in their win over Hull KR on Saturday.

Albert and Baitieri have until 11am on Tuesday, March 13 to challenge the penalty notice.

Meanwhile, Dragons ace Tony Gigot has received a caution for a dangerous throw in the same game.
