Returning Turner says Giants can push for top four

Huddersfield centre Jordan Turner says they can still make the Super League top four.

The Giants enter the Super 8s five points adrift of the play-off places in what promises to be an exciting final quarter of the season.

Turner is in line to make only his third appearance for the Giants against Wakefield this Friday, having started life with his new club with two comprehensive wins back in June.

He told the club’s official website: “I’m really excited. I’ve been in this situation when I was at St Helens going into the 8s with no one focusing on us, it could be better that we go under the radar.

“If we can get things right we are dangerous.  I’m not sitting here saying that we’ll go and win it but we want to ruffle a few feathers.

“If you go and get five or six wins it’s anyone’s game.

“There’s two spots in the top four which aren’t cemented yet and I can’t see why we can’t make a go of it.”
