Scott Dureau is one of Hull KR‘s transfer targets for this season, according to local reports in East Yorkshire.

The Hull Daily Mail has stated that the Catalan Dragons halfback, who spent most of this season on loan at the Sydney Roosters in the NRL, is on the Robins’ hitlist.

Dureau’s contract with the Dragons remains in place for 2015, though the French outfit are also set to sign Todd Carney.

The arrival of another halfback could limit Dureau’s opportunities in Perpignan.

Meanwhile, new Hull KR signing Kieran Dixon is eyeing up a spot at full-back for next season.

The young Londoner has starred on the wing for his previous club the London Broncos, with a strike rate of 39 tries in 54 games.

“My preferred position would be full-back,” the 21-year-old told the Hull Daily Mail.

“I’ve spoken to Chris about this and hopefully I can get a shot there.

“The opportunity came about for me at London on the wing and there was no way I was going to turn that down.

“I didn’t have many opportunities to play at full-back at London because there were more experienced players playing there.

“But I like to be very involved in games and playing at full-back suits me.

“I feel I can be more dangerous with a broken field in front of me.

“I can choose where I want to run when things open up in front of me.”
