Reports link Lee Mossop with Wigan return

Lee Mossop is set to return to Wigan from NRL outfit Parramatta Eels, according to a report in the Wigan Evening Post.

The 25-year-old prop had been thought to be on his way to Leeds, with his spell in Australia being cut short.

Now, though, it appears that his former club have agreed a deal to bring him ‘home’.

The Warriors could have more room on the salary cap than originally anticipated, with Scott Taylor and Gil Dudson reportedly attracting interest from other clubs.

At least one of those forwards could be set for an exit from the DW Stadium, leaving Wigan with the salary cap space they need to re-sign Mossop.
