Report links Hampshire with Castleford

Wigan youngster Ryan Hampshire is reportedly a target for Castleford Tigers, who would like to sign the pivot on a season-long loan deal.

The Pontefract and Castleford Express reports that Cas are after cover at half-back and full-back for the 2016 season, and have identified Hampshire as a player who fits the bill.

The 20-year-old was born in Wakefield, and Wigan are believed to be keen to allow him to go out on loan to gain experience.

The Warriors are reportedly not interested in agreeing to a permanent move for the player.
