Remi Casty will continue in his role as Catalans captain this season.

The 34-year-old has made 294 appearances for the Dragons since making his professional debut back in 2006. He earned 20 caps for France on the international stage.

Casty said: “I’m really proud to be the captain of the team in 2020.

“It’s a huge honour to represent the club. 2020 will be an exciting Super League season and I’m looking forward to it.

“I’ll continue to give 100% for my team-mates, my team, my club and our fans who will be this season again behind us.”

Dragons coach Steve McNamara said: “Remi’s captaincy is just a natural continuation for me.

“He has the benefit of having some outstanding leaders standing alongside him this year and he can focus on leading by example on the field.”
