BBC’s Tanya Arnold will present the 45-minute magazine programme. Tanya is already well known to Rugby League fans as part of the BBC’s Challenge Cup and Four Nations coverage, as well as being a regular presenter with BBC Look North, Yorkshire’s regional news programme.
Charles Runcie, Head of Sport for BBC English Regions, said:
“The change of day to a Monday night will allow the Super League Show to reflect the weekend’s top rugby league action even better, together with illuminating analysis and features. It’s then on the BBC iPlayer for the next seven days, which means fans can enjoy the show at whatever time they want. Tanya and the team can’t wait to get started”.
Produced by Manchester production company PDI Media, the Super League Show is Rugby League’s only weekly programme on terrestrial TV, featuring highlights of the weekend’s key games, all the tries, player profiles and expert analysis from regular pundits Robbie Paul and Brian Noble.
Fans living outside of the North of England can also access the programme live on the Sky platform if they tune into channel 977 (BBC 1 Yorkshire & Lincolnshire) or channel 978 (BBC 1 North West).
