Bradford winger Gareth Raynor has signed a new one-year contract which will keep him at the Bulls until the end of the 2012 season.

The former Crusaders and Hull FC player has made 15 appearances for Bradford this season, scoring 6 tries in the process. Commenting on the deal, Raynor said:

“I’m delighted to sign up. It’s been tough in recent weeks with the results but it’s a great set-up and a great club”

“I just need a bit of consistency and game-time and I seem to be getting better and better.  That comes with the more games you play, the more match fit you get and the smarter you get. I’ve probably never trained as hard at any time in the last five years as I’m doing now at Bradford.  That’s paying off and hopefully it will start to pay off for the team as well.”

Bradford coach Mick Potter added “Gareth deserves a new contract. He’s been playing well and he’s a good type of guy, as far as the kind of people you want around the place.  The guys enjoy playing and training with him and he’s fitted in well.  I’m happy to have him around for another year and it doesn’t matter how old he is. He can still cut it with the best of them.”
