Rawsthorne after derby delight

Nick Rawsthorne is pushing for a spot in Hull FC‘s team for the derby with Hull Kingston Rovers next month.

Rawsthorne made his first appearance for the Black and Whites against Castleford on Boxing Day, after joining from Halifax.

Hull FC take on the Robins on January 8.

“It’ll be great to get in front of the fans and not many people get to experience it on the field,” Rawsthore said.

“If I’m playing, I can’t wait for it. If not, I’ll by supporting the boys and cheering them on.

“It’ll be great to get in front of the fans and not many people get to experience it on the field.

“There’s a lot of competition for places, I just need to improve and hopefully keep on improving and try and break through that squad.”
