Rams Snare Tansey

Dewsbury Rams have completed the signing of former Hull fullback Jordan Tansey.

The 24 year-old had his contract ripped up by the KC Stadium giants after breaching club disciplinary rules on three separate occasions. The talented Tansey first came to prominance with Leeds before a spell in Australia with Sydney Roosters and Dewsbury becomes his fourth professional club. In addition to playing at fullback, Jordan can play centre and stand-off. He made 24 appearances for Hull last season.

This move further strengthens the Rams options with James Craven in particularly good form at the moment.

He has immediately been included in Dewsbury’s squad for their visit to take on Doncaster in the Northern Rail Cup at Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday.
