Parramatta Eels winger Semi Radradra is excited to have been named in the first World All Stars team, which will open the NRL season when it plays against the Indigenous All Stars in February.

The Fijian winger will line up alongside English internationals Sam and Thomas Burgess, James Graham and Gareth Widdop, and will face club-mate Nathan Peats, who has been picked for the Indigenous team.

“I was excited and really happy. To be honest, words can’t even describe how I felt yesterday when I saw my name in the All Stars team,” Radradra told the Eels’ official website.

“I’m really happy and I’m looking forward to next year.

“I am looking forward to being coached by Wayne Bennett. He is a very famous coach.

“I am looking forward to playing against Peatsy. It is very good for the club for Peatsy to be picked for the Indigenous All Stars team.

“Hopefully come game day, we will each be doing what we can to be the best team.”
