Radford hails Hull medical team

Hull FC coach Lee Radford has praised the influence of his club’s medical staff with the Blacks and Whites on top of Super League and injury-free.

Hull FC had not had to contend with a large casualty list this season, unlike a number of clubs such as Warrington, Wigan, Leeds, Huddersfield and Hull KR.

Centre Jack Logan is the only player in doubt for Friday’s massive game against the Wolves.

“We’ve a very healthy squad,” Radford said.

“Getting a team out on Friday that we feel is best suited to play Warrington, there are going to be some tough decisions for us.

“There’s not a great deal in it and there will be five or six players not participating this week not having done a great deal wrong.

“It’s a great position to be in and I keep praising our medical staff who have done a fantastic job.

“To be where we are at this moment in time is really pleasing, especially compared to previous years.

“In the Eights last year we had 14 blokes out and we had to register two young kids at Wigan.

“We’ve done it tough in the past but hopefully we’ve learned from some of our mistakes and had some luck as well.”
